I live in La Habra Heights, CA. The
economy here is SoCal still amazes me! My neighbor put his 3000 square
foot home up for sale 5 days ago for $650,000 and it sold already!
We, in fact, put our home up for sale and people are coming by with great
interest! We bought the home 40 months ago for $500,000 and are asking
$849,000.
Eventhough logic tells me we are going to hit a deflationary period in R.E.
the people in SoCal do not think this is a reality!
In addition, manufacturing (plastics) have been down and out for about two
years. However, machine sales seem to be picking up. We own a small sales
and service company in the industry and can see a reasonable bounce.
In conclusion, the SoCal region seems to be giving positive signals. Or,
could this be the final blow-off top!
