Hi George, I got out of college in '72 and I am
starting to get the same economic vibes I remember from
those days.  All the industries are coming apart just
like then, automobiles, airlines, you name it.  We even
have the high gas prices.  Do you think Easy Al will go
the last mile and drop interest rates to zero like the
Japanese?  I am hoping for a dollar collapse my self so
the long bond goes back to paying 15%, all we need is a
crushing Federal budget deficit which should be on deck
what with the Fed hiring frenzy and all the layoffs
snuffing tax receipts.  I've been here before, regards,

Editor's Note: John raises the point: Will the Fed go to Zero?  Nope.  Can't without violating the Mazurok-Ure Correlation.  See the papers ("It maybe wasn't Nixon) on the main index page www.urbansurvival.com for a briefing on what happens when the Debtberg falls apart - like it is now!
