Bookstore

Welcome to the UrbanSurvival Bookstore.  If you are new to the topic of long wave economics, and how we may be entering into a second economic depression, here's a series of links I've set up (as an Amazon.com Associates program participant) to give you some things to read:

This next list is a selection of books under the search "Kondratieff" for Nikolai Kondratieff:

Although Kondratieff is incredibly interesting, there have been other techniques that would lead a reasonable person to suspect the same kind of outcome.  Specifically, here's a search on Elliott Wave Theory - and yes, there are many other books on the subject without all Bob Prechter's work in the field.  Here's a sampling:

I've always been a fan of Paul Erdman's novels - and not just because we used to drink a martini now and then at the old Trader Vic's in Seattle in my journalism days.  Erdman's been a Swiss banker, even did a stint jail if I recall right, because in Switzerland, the president of the bank is responsible for the conduct of all employees, even if they embezzle funds - which is what landed Erdman in the clink.  His novels are really one of the most painless ways to learn about the in's and out's of international finance...

And, of course, no UrbanSurvivalist would pass by a bookstore without at least looking at "survival" titles:

OK,  How about the Clive Cussler's great series of adventure books?

Tired of economics?  Try amateur radio....

If learning a bit about radio sounds like too much work, you could just get a shortwave set, and start tuning in to World Band Radio...

Well, there you have it - a bunch of books to put on your list.  I appreciate you clicking into Amazon from this site as it helps keep me in reading material, which in turn keeps me coming up with wild new ideas.  The human brain is a lot like a plant - it needs to be fertilized - and ideas are the fertilizer that makes us grow.

Write when you get rich...
