From the think tank, a special Wednesday afternoon update. Based on our work, we expect that DoD efforts using less capable technologies will likely find aspects of the same data, although the policy question sure to rage is whether to raise the national threat level to Orange. The difficulty with the threat level change is that the Administration no doubt is concerned about the impact of raising the threat level, because it becomes much like the "boy who cried wolf." Yet, if our read of the web bot data is correct, there may be reason to elevate the threat level tomorrow.

War against the Wahabi

Editorial Note:

The increase in Wahabi specific verbiage appearing within our general Model Run of late June 2003 offered an opportunity to process the data sets with the goal of focusing on this subject for what intelligence may be gleaned. As the data set specific to the Wahabi was extracted from the larger run of values, it is likely that there is a large degree of variance possible in this interpretation. What makes this effort worth while is that the Wahabi specific references in the data set have grown over 200 per cent in the last 2 data acquisitions. It was decided therefore to attempt a meaningful interpretation of the existent Wahabi specific data. Accordingly, the interpretation below represents a specifically focused view of the model with the goal of answering several questions of immediate interest. For this Special Report, the data is presented in a question and answer format.

Q: Where do the Wahabi’ites attack us next?

A: The [Wahabi] entity is seen as preparing an attack on a site with aspects of (South) with specific references to a place where the (wood) in the (earth) {grows} {upward}. Near by will be an (energy) {plant} filled with {tremendous} (effort/work). The target chosen for the entity has associations with a (vertical wall/ascent) near which is a (low land) or (low lying area) from which there rises (power) and (influence/confluence). This latter may suggest a site where a power plant sits at the base of a cliff or naturally occurring wall that has the power lines rising to it. Further, there is a form of a (departure) {to the south} close by which suggests some form of transportation hub with a main focus to the south which lies close to the chosen target. Other details suggest that near to the chosen target, is a place where (heaps) of {small things} (rise upward) to some height. The number of both aspects and attributes which related to wood, and woods, and copse, suggest that there is some form of natural woodland setting near to the target. This woodland is near an area where (rivers) {congregate} and the (earth) {waters} (flow together) which suggests an estuarine environment. There are also references indicating a (waste) {flow} or disposal is nearby. This (waste) aspect has the attributes of {dismal} and {abysmal} as well as attributes indicating a {great} (stink/smell).

Further, there are references to (empty city) nearby the target. Perhaps an area of industrial park which is expected to be deserted at the time of the attack, or could even reference abandoned buildings, though the attributes are not so clear as to be able to make a definitive interpretation. However, that said, there are a number of words referring to (brakes), and (brake noise) and (dead man switch) and (switches/changes) which would indicate a near by train yard. As the aspects bring up noise of the (brakes) as being able to be heard from the site of the attack, this would suggest that a busy train yard is close enough to contribute to the majority of the on-site noise. There are also some small number of references which can be interpreted towards petroleum refineries.

In addition to the (empty city) we find a number of aspects relating to (royalty) such as (king) and (courtier) which have attributes which doubly modify both these aspects as well as a primary aspect of (Mount) as in mountain or large hill. Being linked to the aspects of (royalty) suggests that there is a named hill involved with the site which has a local connotation with (kings). There are also indicators that a (community) {project} is nearby which is associated with (social status). This (community) {project} has an association with (rhythmic motion) and a {centered} (wall). This latter could be referencing a tidal or sea wall, though this is merely a guess at this stage. There are some references suggesting that the chosen target site is very noisy.

Further, the entity suggests that there are (steps) involved with the attack, though these are not steps as in stairs but rather are to be interpreted as a many small movements or actions which will be necessary for the attack to be successful. This further suggests that the [Wahabi] entity is planning a significant action which will involve some level of coordination with many parts. The other references within this data set further amplify this idea in that the aspects return to the idea of (step by step), (small incremental movements) {bring success}. Oddly, a large component of these aspects include other aspects relating to (drunkenness) or (inebriated). These are modified and amplified by references to (not sober), (stay sober), and (advancing intoxication). This data set includes attributes indicating some need to avoid speed or haste in that the attributes include {step by step}, {steady progress}, (do not) {overleap}.

A series of curious references to (blind) and (darkness) also are part of the attack plan as seen by the model. These references also include aspects of (blindly deluded), (tricked), (exhaustion), (blind impulse), (fear of darkness), (leap) {into the dark} and other aspects relating to lack of sight.

This entity is also modified by language suggesting that the attack will be difficult and can only succeed with (persevering pressure upward), or through (not pausing) in {effort} or, (strength of will) {to go slow}.

Q: How do the Wahabi attack next?

A: The [Wahabi] entity shows that the attack is (ocean) based. Further, the attack is predicated on (holding) {the group} (together). The attack will involve the (disruption/destruction) of an (earthenware bowl). This latter arises as the prime aspect from a data set which includes (chamber) and (vessel). Of course, an initial interpretation would have to include a nuclear reactor as they are (energy) (plants) with reactor (vessels). But it could also be that the entity is saying that the attack will come from a (vessel) as in an (ocean) going boat. Other aspects include (sphere) and other words referring to (globe), (ball), and (container).

There is some suggestion within the data set, though only through opposing aspects, that the attack will be performed by the (wrong people). These aspect words may be referring to the (wrong people) in a more naming fashion rather than a descriptive way. In other words, the (wrong people) may well be a mistranslation of the actual name of the group involved, and the best that the model can do is to substitute the descriptive rather than the nominative.

Q: What is the Wahabi’s next target?

A: The [Wahabi] entity is seeking a large, lingering impact target. This target has two goals; the first is a (continuing destruction) which (shines forth) as (fire) rising from (dangerous water) to act as a (beacon) to (young men of faith/monks). The second goal of this target is to (raise up) the {image of the people} such that {shining moon} draws (closer) the {people} to {the book} –presumably the Qu’ran--. As a further descriptor for this target, we find words which suggest that a successful, from the entities point of view, attack will result in (green woods) (renewing) after the (fire) which left {charred ruins} which will be (redoubled in beauty) following the {dangerous} (rain) washing (clean) the {misery} (of the old), and replacing it with the {glorious/godlike} (new era). There is much to suggest that the planning for this attack is complete, and the entity certainly has the verbiage as though the attack is in the past. This suggests that the only thing left is the (manifestation) of the (reality of the success). The [Wahabi] entity shows this attack as being a (gathering place) {in the future} (after the coming of the calm/peace) for (young men) {of faith}. This would suggest that the attack is seen as a pivotal point that will be revered later.

Q: Describe the Wahabi’s involved in the attack.

A: The entity contains specific references to (ten pairs) {minus one tortoise} as being the attackers. These persons are (already increased) and (asleep). Which suggests that they are in place and waiting. Along with this information comes the idea that (two small bowls) will be used to (carry out) {the plan}. These (small bowls) are by (he who will sacrifice). This latter may well suggest that one of 19 persons will suicide within the attack by carrying the (bowls) of {destruction}. The others of the (ten pairs) will be (hidden) in the (lake/water) at the (foot of the mountain) awaiting the (sun rise) to {release} the (anger). Most of these participants are (young faithful) and are (naïve) to (the result) and will (sacrifice) to (spare) the (carrier). This suggests that the others from the group of 19 will be to provide support to allow the (small bowls) to be (delivered). Apparently this group is of mostly (subordinates) who are (told) that {all will be well}. This may be suggesting that this is another mass suicide attack in which the attackers are not in the `know` about the suicidal nature. Further, these persons are even now (awaiting) in (shells) their {waking} at (night) for {activities of the climb}. These attackers have each been (studied/trained) to (carry) {ten heavy boxes} of (shells/ammunition/weapons/sticks) to the (top) of the (centered wall) in the (darkness). From the (top) of the (centered wall) the (marshland) can be seen and (surveys) of the (activities of the peoples) can be seen through (watchful attention). This suggests that the attackers will attempt to gain a high ground advantage. These attackers have been told to (lie) in {the golden wheat} awaiting {release of substance/rising of the water} prior to acting.

Q: When do the Wahabi’s attack next?

A: The entity is less than specific in answering this question, however, the overwhelming number of aspects indicating (social) and (food) together would suggest that July 4 is a good timing for this attack. However, for reasons specific to the attributes modifying the many (food) references, it would be wise to interpret these aspects as also including July 3^rd. These aspects for (food), (nourishment), (social gathering), (social pleasure), (light days), (favors/prizes) and others are all, without exception, containing modifiers suggesting (premature) or (not yet begun) or (not yet ready) or (anxiously awaiting). Further references to (day of preparation) suggest that July 3^rd is a potential as well. Doubly linked aspects within the data set also point to the idea that an attack (before the sun rise) is indicated. But as timing clues within our model are the least reliable factor, it seems wise to interpret this as potentially meaning that the day before the (food) (gathering) day is also a prime candidate as the [Wahabi] entity sees the (point of failure/vulnerability) exists (best before) the (rising) of the {light of the sun}.

METHODS:

This report was prepared using both self defining and specific definition methods. In self defining analysis, language usage pattern shifts are allowed to define the entities emerging. In the specific definition method, specific subjects are sought and the aspects and attributes are extracted when those subject conversations are located. Specific entity definitions are used to provide a constant context to the report. The specific definitions are also used to provide differing points of view for examination of the model and its interpretation.

Over the course of the report preparation, usually 10 days, the queries are repeatedly run, the aspect and attributes of language usage concerning the selected entities are noted, and changes plotted against a static field model with meta-aspects such as duration, emotional content, impact, geography and sequencing (distribution over time or the ‘spread’ factor).

Data acquisition is conducted through c/c++ programs under the control of an expert system written in prolog. For data and POV validation, the model contains a self-representing entity which is tracked over time for consistency. Reference programs external to the modeling process are also employed as validation devices.

The physical display of the model is done in a CAD program through LISP scripts.

Web Bot Forecast: Tragic July Looms

Editor's Notes: This is a special report from the think tank which uses our proprietary method of web data collection. We've published details in papers as far back as July 2001 about how this all works. In essence, the second half of July 2003 appears to have a massive scandal developing centered around GSE's - Government Sponsored Entities or a related piece of the financial system - that will reveal massive corruption which in turn will lead to a massive economic decline by late summer. The run that we posted several weeks ago is still in place. That one forecast things like "weather refugees" this summer and several other items that are presumably still out there percolating. This week, more details about things economic, much more in keeping with the focus of this site, which tracks how we're replaying the Great Depression of 1929.

Issue Theme: Massing against the Unexpected

Executive Summary of Entities:

Caveat: As always, the executive summary is only effort to attempt to understand the possible "fit" between the web bot outputs and presently perceptible news events. There is likely to be a large delta between the "actual" events that will occur next month (July) and these samples of possible fit, because of the nature of the technology: It's a "futurescope" but a bit fuzzy. Our experience is that about 30-60% of the model output will be "spot on" and the rest is linguistic noise that led us to our current work on filtering techniques to improve the "signal to noise ratio."

The Model Overall: The data sets in the model are doing something like a lava lamp into which a bubbling air supply has been inserted. Numerous minor points of view/world views (like the small bubbles) are being draw into large entities, such that a polarization into big entities is occurring. There's a lurking danger perceived at a planetary language shift level, yet the specifics are not yet in focus. It is, simply stated, a time of global massing against some unexpected event in the near future.

Economy/ GSE Entity: An entity focused on Government Sponsored Entities (GSE's) such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac or similar large banking entities and/or their related derivatives is arising suddenly so as to be "frightening", to "the company" (country?). Event sequences are likely to become visible by mid-month (15th) and be validated by late month (26th). Images of "tumbling down hills" or "carts smashed asunder" accentuate the language uses describing this entity as part of a "cataclysmic upheaval" resulting in "great losses," and in one portion of the run "100,000 times losses" indeed a worrisome phrase. In addition to expected internally generated references, there is some kind of "unexpected event" which will come into play which will come from the "city of nine hills", which we believe may reference China/Hong Kong, although San Francisco is a lesser fit. In the center of this first set of shocks will be a woman, perhaps a whistleblower. The durational values indicate that this is a highly persistent event with primary influences to 19 years and secondary influences to 27-86 years. Mention of the risk of REIT's.

Unexpected [Economic] Event: Apparently linked to the first entity, which could be a more general issue of structural integrity of the global financial system is some extremely large "unexpected event." It's possible that a something like a sequence of bribes or influence peddling may come to light involving high powers of a country. The repeated use of the word "comrade" along with drum, dirge, and "not to be played", evoke something like a key Russian or Chinese involvement. A major change in the Russian or Chinese power structure, for example, with repercussions for the world financial system. A surprise change of leadership and linking of a major currency to gold, for example that catches the whole world off guard - something unexpected like that would fit but it would also be linked with the GSE/US economic issue or triggered by it.

Peace Initiatives: Through the 20th of July much media focus will continue in this area but it may be outside the Middle East as there's a lack of geographical context. The model suggests that one long running peace process may make progress, and involve somehow a "woman about to marry." This phrasing in the model may be signaling a commercial joining (marriage) or joint development efforts that will somehow cement this peace process. Condi marrying the parties? Condi get's married? Who know? But there's some womanly involvement in either a literal or figurative sense.

Government: Global governance (not country-specific) is seen as sinking into problems and declining respect from the general populace. It's possible that a united action (UN?) will actually cause the problem it is trying to prevent. This will be somehow linked, perhaps in reaction to, the US GSE/financial entity that dominates this run. Something like the UN stepping up plans to police Iraq as the US becomes suddenly focused on financial misdeeds at home, that kind of thing.

Bush Administration Entity: As regards the Bush Administrations War against Iraq, the readings suggest that events of the coming period will remind us of a period of US impotence. The obvious interpretation is that the recent abduction and subsequent killing of of US troops will lead to comparisons to the Iran Hostage period noted for the apparent show of weakness and impotence of American actions. It must also be noted that the language shifts foretell of a global view shaping that the Iraqi people resisting the US occupation will be seen as ‘partisans’ in battle with oppressors. The specifics of the interpretation suggest that problems in the Iraqi war will arise from a marine estuary environment traditionally used for smuggling. Alternatively, key administration members may depart should Iraq continue going badly to avoid something like mudslinging.

^^ The entity representing the model itself will move through the model-space indicating a general trend which is interpreted to represent the aggregation of all asymmetric language shifts within the total data set when compared to the previous model’s ending snapshot. This model-within-the-model is used for several internal analytic purposes, but also stands in good proxy to a very high level view of all trends emerging from the data set. Each ALTA report features the changes in the model entity as the theme of the issue. ^^

[MODEL/Monde] For this duodecadies (20 day period) the model is showing a theme of the (Massing) of like-minded forces or the (drawing together) of {mutual interests} into camps. This period will see a further (separation) into {points-of-view/world views} which are in opposition to other positions. This is a period of strong forces, attempting to draw weaker forces into their sphere or point-of-view. The model suggests that this movement will meet with limited success as the general trend appears to be for (development) of {separate interests}. However much there is a failure of the effort, during this period the energy will be toward (Massing) together. There will be (renewal) of the {weapons} and a (preparation) to meet the {unforeseen/unknowable/hidden} (obstacles) {resident} (under) {the waters of the lake}. This implies the image of danger lurking underwater as in hidden shoals, or flotsom. The danger here is augmented with aspects of (breakthrough) as in a dam giving way suddenly, or as in the breach of a wall by an enemy during a siege. In fact, the [Model/Monde] entity specifically has aspects stating (strife) in the {massed populace} and (robbery/terror) where {gather} the {people}. Further, the [Model/Monde] theme for the period is specifically focused on the acquisition of (arms) for {defense of the realm}.

The [Model/Monde] shows that (secret forces) are at work attempting to (corral/herd/maneuver){together} (those of a like-kind). These (secret forces) are clear in their intention and (reveal) {their minds} in (action), indicating that some above the surface activity involving allegiances (Massing){together} will show the presence of {hidden}(directors/manipulators). Further, the (secret forces) will produce the effect of (isolating) the {populace*} (amidst) {sighs}. A (servant) of the (ruler*) will (gather together) {populace*} in the name of the (ruler*) and will meet with some success in this effort. The [Model/Monde] suggests that the success of the (gathering man) will be of a (reversal) of {fortunes} in that the (populace*) once gathered in the name of the (ruler*) will (discover){betrayal} by the (ruler*) and will, in the end, (turn on/be the undoing) of the (ruler*). The (gathering man) however, is shown by the [Model/Monde] as continuing on (in prominence) even after the (debacle){of sighs} arising as the immediate fate of the (ruler*).

The [Model/Monde] shows that this duodecadies will include a (mountain) of {lamentations} and the (crying and sighing) of the (populace) creating a (flood) of {tears}. The (mind) of the {populace*} will (croak/groan) until (relieved) of its {suffering}. There will be (rejection) of the (approach) of the (ruler*) who will (proclaim) his intentions {misunderstood} but to no avail. Some (authority) will perceive the (need for a sacrifice) and will (surrender) a {cousin} to the {anguish} of the (populace*). The (sacrifice) will be seen as being (small/inadequate) and {ineffectual} and will (taint) the {taste of the wine} at the (ruler*){table}.

The theme of this period is Massing against the Unexpected.

The Entities

[Economy]

[GSE - Proxy] (Danger)(Loss)

Within the broader entity of all things [economic], there has arisen an entity which is defined by the perception of FreddyMac, FannyMae, and other GSEs. This entity is well populated and specifically focused on structural integrity issues. The obvious aspects of (accounting), (audit) and (derivatives) are present and well represented, but the surprising nature of this entity comes from its aspects of (unexpected event), (frighten), (company), (danger), (ordeal), (thirst relief), (feeling trepidation) and others of a very similar linguistic nature. There is not a single positive value aspect in the lexicon of this entity. Its entire value set, including those indicating duration of emotional impact are directed negatively. If one imagines this entity as a fish midway up one side of an empty aquarium, then the path the entity takes is a steep sweeping curve forward in time and downward with each second or movement. The usual pattern for entity movement is anything but smooth, being most frequently seen as chaotic spurts up and down not unlike an earthquake seen on a seismograph. However, the [GSE – Proxy]entity is descending continuously during this period. In fact, its motion is seen to draw other entities sharing much of the same aspect data set downward as well. This ‘drawing’ effect of this entity contributes to its name as it stands proxy for a general trend.

Further, this entity’s aspect set includes repeated cross referencing occurrences of the concept of the (unexpected event). Specifically, not a person, nor other entity, but an event is indicated here. As though behaviors at a specific point in time will suddenly (alter/change/twist) as a result of the (arrival of the unexpected){circumstance}. This unexpected event will arrive prior to July 15th (midmonth) such that (perceptions) are (solidified/validated/formed) by July 26th. The {relief} of the (populace*) noted on July 17th will be (uncarted/upset) or (seen){false} by the end of the month. This suggests an obvious interpretation of attempts to ‘manage’ the (crises/danger) which will occur around the FreddyMac/FannyMae scandal, but that the spin on the issue is dismissed, in spite of early promise of acceptance. An alternate interpretation is that circumstances or the many (revelations) noted by the [GSE – Proxy] entity overwhelm the ability to be spun. It may well be that the news comes so rapidly that it curtails the ability to react. Many of the aspects and well as magnifying attributes suggest images of ‘tumbling down hills’ or ‘carts smashed asunder’ or ‘buried by the wave’.

As if that is not bad enough, the entity further has primary aspects of (cataclysmic upheaval) and (great losses). These sentiments are further magnified by attributes of {resistance is useless}, {despair}, {drowning}, {wilting}, and others suggesting a force so overwhelming the mind that even the thought of fighting is too much to bear.

At both the secondary and tertiary layers of aspects, this entity continues to reverberate with the central notion of (shocks) upon shocks without end until (reeling/tumbling/loss of control) occurs, and there is a (shaking) of the {world of hope}. Further, (constant troubles) arise in the path of those who (would flee) that (block) (recesses/holes/escape). Again, more (difficulties) are going to emerge during this period to (bedevil) the (authority) with {harangues} from the (lost/deprived/burned} (populace*).

The (unexpected event) is associated with a city or location of (nine hills). It will be (revealed/manifest) in such a way that a (woman/female aspect) will be placed at the center of the first of the emerging (shocks). Her role as forecast by the entity is to provide a (center) around which (repercussions/troubles/woes) will circle. The entity seems to indicate that this woman will not be (tainted) by these crises so this could be interpreted to suggest that a woman ‘whistle blower’ will step forward as a result of, or causing, the (unexpected result) which will case the [GSE – Proxy] entity to (tumble) to {ground} only to lay (prostrate/supplicant) to the continuing (pouring) of (troubles).

When the first (shock) comes, some will realize the (import) of the (unexpected event) which will lead to their having (joy/surprise). As a result, this small group of (aware) persons will be seen to be (pointing) to (the doors of external laws). As a result of this (pointing) (holes/recesses) will be (closed) with {foreknowledge} and (bailiffs/LEP) {waiting}. The entity references the first (shock) of the appearance of the (unexpected event) as a (thunderclap) so loud as to (stun the senses). It is expected that everyone will recognize that "something" has happened without most realizing the true extent until much later. This is further reinforced by aspects of (fallen), (stunned), (numbness), and (reeling). The continuing nature of the many (shocks) to follow the (unexpected event) are magnified within the entity by repeated references to (horror), (dread), (purge), (crawling skin), (losing skin), (threats overhead),(midst of horrors), (blood letting),(eviseration) and other descriptors of a similar nature.

It should be noted that the (unexpected event) has associations with East, and that the impact values of the lexicon populating this entity sum up to decades of impact as a result of what will happen during this period. The primary duration value has a reading indicating 19 years or more. Secondary duration values begin at 27 years and scale up to 86 years. Suffice it to say that what is coming is likely to leave a multigenerational wake behind it.

Note that the [GSE – Proxy] entity has so many interlocking and inter-affecting aspects with other economic entities, that it stands as proxy for the complexity of the current financial system.

Now, since the (unexpected event) aspect has arisen, the direct sample method was used, and an entity was modeled to attempt to get a better view of the (unexpected event) when it was extracted from the context of the [GSE – Proxy] entity.

[Unexpected Event] (Expected)(Dreaded)

Obviously, the [Unexpected Event] entity, is perversely, expected. It would seem that the level of (anxiety) abounding in the global conversations is such that it can be interpreted and is certainly felt as a foreshadowing presence. What is odd about the [Unexpected Event] entity within our model, is that it is centrally empty. That is, it contains the usual aspects and attributes for defining values such as impact and duration, geography, and scope, along with the definition values, but its descriptor is completely devoid of values. It is as though everyone can sense this (threat) but none can or will name it. For this entity, the aspect of (Empty-ness) is its definition. That being said, there are some things that can be gleaned about it.

First, it appears that it is (true) or is about the revelation of a (truth) as this theme is repeated through the meta-set of lexicon values. This (truth) aspect has repeated references to {inner}, {national/tribal/collective} and {core strength}. Further, the aspects reference a (secret design) with attributes of {disquieting}, and {words release fear}. Again more attributes signaling what the [Unexpected Event] is focused on, that what it contains. These include {sharing}, {extending}, {calling in}, {shaded young}, {lifting/crane/elevation}, which might be taken to mean that a bribe or other action is to be revealed by or is the [Unexpected Event].

Curiously, the meta-set of descriptors for the [Unexpected Event] entity contains some interesting associations. One is the repeated appearance of the word ‘comrade’ as an attribute to this entity. Further we find ‘drum’, as in ‘dirge’, and ‘stopped’ as in, ‘not able to be played’. Along with that attribute set, are {sobs}, {drink/spirit}, {sound of life},{singing/lamentations}, and {inappropriate place}.

Also found in this set are ‘Sun’, ‘rope’, ‘fair dwelling’, ‘derives’, ‘links’, and again, the central aspect of (true).

Except for the empty hole where the descriptors ought to be, the entity for [Unexpected Event] is fully formed and shows a massive impact potential value with duration values indicating years of effect, perhaps decades.

[Peace] (Joining)

This data extraction populated an entity named [Peace] as its lexicon contains descriptors for this concept. It is a completely populated entity and likely arises from the many recent articles about the various peace initiatives. Further supporting that deduction, this entity has association with the media. It is as though this entity is saying that within the next 20 days the media will be pre-occupied with [Peace] as a possibility or reality in some instance now thought unlikely. This of course brings up the tantalizing possibility of a Middle East peace, however, there are no specific geographic or other references to suggest this as any more likely than peace anywhere else.

The specific defining references at this point for the [Peace] entity are the aspects of (fording the river){in pursuit}, (enduring) with {resolution} the (sufferings){now} with {gentleness} for (one’s companions). Further, aspects of (walking), (distant), (neglecting one’s garden), (uncultured), (seen in the middle) define this entity. The magnifying characteristics include aspects of (mingle){with common people}, (clear mind), (great capacities), (perceptive appreciation), and (benevolence of sight).

The motion of this entity is toward a (meeting) with (no departure) and (so no return). This (meeting) has attributes of {sky}, {water}, and {point/place}. During the (meeting) the (neighbors) are (called in), and are (already present) {ready to help}. This subset of the [Peace] entity reinforces the [Model/Monde] subtext about two small groups formerly in opposition sharing a common pain and using that as the bridge to overcoming their obstacles. This entity has negatively modified aspects such as(standstill){removed}.

There are no specifics for the geography of the [Peace] entity other than the involvement of the river, and a distant mountain which could be anyplace on the planet. There are specifics that do come into view though regarding other defining characteristics. In this case, there are the aspects of (movement toward){a wedding woman –likely interpreted as a woman about to marry}. Modifiers to this aspect include other attributes indicating the idea of marriage might well be taken as a commercial (contract) between the parties currently in opposition. This is reinforced with the modifying aspects of (organize), (interpret/analyze), and (manage).

[Government](Explosion)(Thunder)

This entity is not nation specific. It represents what we term the ‘global government collective’.

The [Government] entity is filled with aspects saying that things are not well. We find commonly aspects such as (atmosphere) modified by {oppressive} and {non function} or {not smoothly}. This is interpreted to reflect a growing ‘dis-ease’ on the part of the [populace] entity with [Government]. This reports’ data set includes a shift within the primary aspects for [Government] where political events/news is less the focus than is the economic aspect of government. Further, this rising primacy of economic over political focus, is clearly negatively attributed. We find things like (rock/material/goods) {desired} but not {needed}. As well as (complaining){incessantly}, with (food/nourishment/money) (not yet){digested}, as modifiers. In this case we also see more negative modifiers within the descriptors as well as negative values for ‘presence’ with exceptional duration values indicating many year impacts of the current view of this entity. In other words, people are presuming that they will think ill of [Government] for some time to come.

The [Government] entity has a curious motion amplified by even more curious associations. In this case, this entity is being drug down by the [GSE – Proxy] entity on one of its ‘wings’ within the model. Not unexpected, however, the [Government] entity apparently has its’ own nexus of negative draw. The entity has aspects of (suspicious behavior returned) which is interpreted to mean that as the [Government] entity exhibits suspicion, presumably of its citizens, it will engender a feedback which will turn suspicions back onto the entity. This aspect is modified by {unbalanced action} which suggests that a [Government] action in this period will be an ‘over-reaction’ triggering just what the action was supposed to prevent.

The action to be taken which will cause the reaction is associated with aspects of (music), (composing), (ensemble), (announces), (fluid), (cosmic), (forces), and (rulers). We find within the secondary aspect set, the following; (short term pleasure), (rhythm), (proper), (jammed/blocked/corked), (notices/paper/announcements/proclamations).

The over-reaction on the part of the [Government] entity will contribute to the (shocks) referenced in the [GSE – Proxy] entity, however, these will be merely additive to that event. In this case the [Government] entity will be creating a (thunder) which will (roll over/inundate) the {populace*}. The (multitudes) will (explode) in {reaction} causing a (thunderclap/shock wave) to (crush) an {edifice} of the [Government] entity revealing a {corrupt} (core/center). The [Government] action will reveal that the affected part is (persistently ill), yet still (does not/is not allowed) to {die} causing (legs --?) to be {withered} in the {heat/light/sunshine}.

There are indications that some persons will stand up to the [Government] in a (clear/pure/true) {opposition} to the (corruption). The entity also presages an attempt by [Government] to (sacrifice) the {small, clasped group} in an effort to get out from under the developing (back-lash).

As this entity contains many attributes associated with real estate including {deeds}, {analyze}, {transfers}, {property}, {claims}, and others, it is likely that this entity is indicating that the global [Government] collective will be an active participant in the coming GSE fiasco. However, the nuance is that problems will arise independently for the [Government] collective which will only later become intertwined with the GSE problem.

A last note is that the summation duration values lead to aspects such as (defeat), (chaos), (obstructed) {harmony}, (disjointed/unconnected){family/tribe/collective}. More in the same vein foretell a very bad period between the global government collective and the general populace of the planet.

The [Government] entity currently has East as its prime directional association, with the Atlantic –ocean? Coast? – as the primary geographic relationship.

[Bush Administration] (Iraq)(Breakthrough)

A technical note that due to a significant shift in language patterns we now find it easiest to separate out the Bush Administration as an entity of its own independent of either the concept of America as in all of its people in toto, and the American Government as in the persistent civil servant base. This is due to a completed trend for discussions to specifically separate out the Bush Administration from other concepts of America. This arises from the global recognition of a disparate emotional response to the policies of the American Government as personified by the Bush Administration and the people of America, and the implementation of that recognition through changes in language.

The [Bush Administration] entity faces escalating problems in Iraq. These problems are seen as being (insurmountable) and derived from (over estimating one’s strength). The [Bush Admin] is seen as (advancing) in Iraq but without (success). The image is one of (walking on your toes) over (embers/hot coals). There is movement, but at a disproportional cost. This effort is seen as the [Bush Administration] (looking/seeking) {support} and {sympathy} and (receives) {animosity} (from afar) and (at the hearth). Further (fear) is seen to be the motivator of some action within this duodecadies, which will lead to (weakness) {chasing} the (action). During this period, a (breakthrough) will occur, but the (separation) of the {logjam} will not lead to good results for the [Bush Administration].

Within this period the [Bush Administration] will receive a (rain shower) of {mud} and soon thereafter will encounter (partisans) and be seen as (fleeing) from {ineffectiveness}. The entity suggests that (protestations) will be (unwelcome) {reminders} of (impotence).

This is a very graphic entity with descriptors which include (skin flayed) {off buttocks}, (thighs){escorciated},(friends like sheep), (flock) of {mud bound birds}, (laborious grazing) with {worn teeth}, (hard walking),(eating){rocks/pebbles}. In this case (helpers) will become (unreliable/untrustworthy) in the eyes of the [Bush Administration] leading to a decision to (abandon) the {road} in favor of the (path). This will prove a tragic mistake being added to a (blunder). The (path) chosen, will prove to be (impassible) (in 7 steps) leading to (stagnation) and (fermentation/corruption) within a period of 13 days.

In addition to being graphic, and replicating some of the location specifics of the earlier reports, we find many geographic references for this period. Troubles for the [Bush Administration] effort in Iraq will arise from (soggy marsh), where (reeds) can be (grasped) and used (for motion) of {small boats}. Much can be (hidden/placed low) in (marshlands’ nests) with (reeds/paper) standing as (sentinels). Near this (soggy marsh) will be found a place of (carefully groomed){border} to (separate from) the {weeds} common to the area. A large (gathering place) is to the (south) and (west) of the (soggy marsh). Nearby rest (flocks and herds). Along in this (soggy marsh) (boats) are used to (convey) {small} {hidden treasures}.

Attributes and aspects further describe the developing situation as being (strong in the cheekbones) of (the land) (brings){misfortune/bad luck}. The aspects have repeated references to (rain) and variations of (storm) suggesting weather will play a large part in the problems to be faced during this period.

All of the aspects of this entity fall into one of two groups, either those indicating resoluteness, or misfortune. The durational values are high, the impact or immediacy values are very high, indicating that the short term impact will be severe and the effect long lasting. The summation values are completely negative. Blunder does not fit this situation. More like tragic mistake. The model is saying that it is very likely that the Bush Administration will not recover from this effort. That the Iraqi adventure will be seen in this period as (sapping)(vigor) and producing (wasted corpses) and (murmuring old men).

Further, this duodecadies is shown as creating problems for the [Bush Administration] in the (calves) of the (legs), which leads to a (hesitation/tarrying) that will cause {misfortune}. This (hesitation) will cause the [Bush Administration] to be seen as (agitated) in (mind) and (indecisive) and (dithering). Finally there will be (movement) but apparently only a (dwindling group) of (friends) will {follow}. The (mentality) expressed leads to (an empty hole). (Pressures) are applied, but the result is (nothing). It is seen that (all actions/movements) of the [Bush Administration] in Iraq will (cause){misery}.

[Environment](Sun)(Flowering)

[Sun](Changes)

The rise of environmental entities within the model has been seen as a natural outgrowth of the events around, and verbiage invested in global warming. However, this period provided a data set with a significantly increased number of references to the sun. In this case, it was decided to begin to develop this trend into its own entity. When processed, the entity was fully formed suggesting that a trend will emerge in which the [Sun] or events on the sun will assume some primacy in the collective consciousness. This is why we have the sun listed both as an aspect and an entity within this report.

The attributes modifying the sun as aspect indicated that the collective consciousness conception of the sun is shifting. In modeling the [Sun] as entity, some surprising results are obtained. While early yet, in that this entity is not fully populated, its core value set still show significant shifts in how people are conceptualizing the [Sun] within their environment. The surprising part is how negative this view has become.

We find that aspects of [enemy] modified by {wary} are showing up within the lexicon. Further obscuring the picture are aspects of (deserted city) {ascended} which suggest some foreboding without necessarily illuminating much. As other aspects arise, the image does not get clearer, but the emotional tone does sharpen. We find (authority){moves inland}, and (despite){traditional support}. These aspect attributes are found in primary descriptor data sets as well as the meta data for the entity. This indicates a profound, and very long lasting trend caught just in its developing form.

Attributes such as {misgiving} modify the [Sun] entities’ aspects of (ease), (lack of constraint), as well as (too much advance). Additional aspects with negative attribute modifiers are also present in all of the data sets. These include cascading repetitions of such aspects as (zenith){pain}{loss}, (survey){loss}{feeling-less},(celestial law){wheeling/reeling}.

At the mundane level, this entity arises with aspects of (blind), (bright), (increase), (too easy), (lack of constraint), (foreign/strange) and many other aspects stating that a significant change is being perceived with the [Sun]. The attributes produce a high duration value and a neutral to trepidatious value for immediate impact. This entity is indicating a questioning of the stability of the environment in the immediate future. We find that uncertainty expressed in such aspects as (drunken/intoxicated) on {high mountain air}, and (rich){breath} (leads to) {reeling head}. Other aspects including mountain, mountain top, high places are all modified with some form of {intoxication/dizzy} as though suggesting that some how the [Sun] will cause a very large increase in sunstroke and related problems. The primary references to (deserted city), and (empty house) are further modified by attributes expressing death concepts. The obvious interpretation is that the collective consciousness is viewing the sun as a rising and continuing cause of death. That is, that exposure to the sun is coming to represent an immediate death threat. This is an alteration of scope on both the impact and duration scales.

Recent ALTA reports have seen a significant shift of awareness globally into areas such as environment and weather. It appears that that trend is now continuing with a further differentiation into specific areas of focus. This fits the proven entity evolution pattern, and suggests that this duodecadies may mark the period where the perception of the global environment shifts from benign to dangerous. It is clear from the continuing evolution of the [Environment] lexicon, that this subject area will dominate the future.
